UniKitty.
Legoland was one big pink pleasant surprise, two outrageously fun roller coaster rides, three delicious Asian lunch entrees and more smiles and laughs than we could count.
Any idea is a good idea except the non-happy ones. Those we push down deep inside where you’ll never, ever, ever, EVER find them! Β Β -UniKitty

August 1, 2016 at 5:02 pmWe had so much fun + perfect weather (of course!) We tools tons of silly photos (we love doing that) and got to see SO many cool Lego displays. We each made a mini-fig and had a fabulous noodle lunch. The new Nijago Ride was virtual reality and the kids flipped out for it (me too actually). It was beyond amazing!
August 1, 2016 at 5:08 pmOne of our favorite family vacation spots!
August 1, 2016 at 5:03 pmOurs too! We’ve been twice now and think we’ll go again next summer! We didn’t get to ride the horses around the track and we all thought that would be great silly fun! Kids love panning for gold and getting the medal. What is your kids’ favorite?

August 1, 2016 at 9:31 pmYes and yes! Legoland California is so fun! Did you know there is a Legoland Discovery Center in Tempe? We just went for the first time – awesome! Stay tuned – we are looking to have a giveaway for Legoland Discovery Center AZ tickets!
August 8, 2016 at 3:34 amWe have never been to LEGOLAND,but I have heard it’s more for the younger kids. Would my teens like it?
August 1, 2016 at 10:38 pmThe younger set does have a lot of options – more than other amusement parks I would say. However, my teen loved Legoland and enjoyed a variety of rides – including a giant roller coaster – that are only for older kids. The new Ninjago World ride – though grade school kids can go on it to and maybe even a little younger – was a virtual reality video game and the older you are, the better you can be at the game (except for me!).
There is an extensive Star Wars World display that is awesome for older kids – especially those that enjoy that series. If your older kids like Legos, then for sure it is a great place for them!
August 3, 2016 at 3:29 pmI can’t wait til my boys are old enough to appreciate Legoland!!
August 2, 2016 at 1:03 amAww, how old are they? I think probably four and five is the perfect age to begin taking them to Legoland that way they can remember and really enjoy all the different things there are to do! One thing for the younger set for sure, are these little airplanes that fly around and also there’s horses that you can ride to go up and down around like through forest.
August 4, 2016 at 12:26 amLegoland is such a great place for kids!
August 2, 2016 at 1:13 amAgreed! We love it so much – we could have easily spent two or three days – we want to do the whole water park area next time! New to us too was the Friends World – so cute! Very cool splash pad there – wish we would have brought suits and towels.
August 3, 2016 at 3:20 pmLove the blog, thanks for keeping us all informedπ
August 2, 2016 at 4:02 amThank you so much! Heart doing it! Thanks for the kinds words – I appreciate them more than I can tell you!
August 2, 2016 at 4:10 amYou are so welcome! It is my great pleasure! I love being out and about with my kids, finding fun and new places, activities, events, places to eat and especially bakeries and sweet shops, and sharing them with all our Active Moms! Thank you for your kind words and I will look forward to connecting with you here!
August 3, 2016 at 3:19 pmLegoland! SOOO much fun! One of my fav places :))
August 2, 2016 at 4:08 amOurs too! We’ve been twice and are planning on going again next summer! This trip was especially fun – perfect weather, delicious lunch at Wok N Bowl Ramen(which I was not expecting! My son’s noodle soup was fabulous, my orange chicken was delish AND it was reasonably priced!) and we didn’t even have a wait to ride the new Ninjago Ride (we did get there right at opening time).
August 3, 2016 at 3:17 pmThat would be super awesome!
August 3, 2016 at 5:50 amAgreed!
August 3, 2016 at 1:47 pmI hope to one day be able to take my daughter to Legoland.
August 3, 2016 at 11:53 pmOh, I hope so too! It is such a magical place. And there’s so many different things to do the Lego friends village has a really cool splash pad and old-fashioned carousel it was new to us we hadn’t been for a while we loved it!
August 4, 2016 at 12:25 amHaven’t been to Legoland in CA yet but planning to go to Tempe soon!!
August 6, 2016 at 12:28 amWe just went to the one in Tempe – two Lego mini figure round yellow thumbs up! SO fun! Rides, movies and of course – Legos! Every kind – huge ones we had never seen and tons of Friends Legos too! Make your own car to race (they have that in Legoland California too) – we had such a time and spent more than four hours there!!!
August 8, 2016 at 3:31 amlove it there!
August 6, 2016 at 1:14 amWhat is your favorite? We love the panning for gold – the kids love to get those big medals! Also new Ninjago Ride is awesome! VR rocks!
August 8, 2016 at 3:28 amHow would legoland be for a 4 year old? He loves Legos but I was under the impression it would be a bit old for him!

August 9, 2016 at 12:27 amI assume this is in California, has anyone done the one at AZ Mills? What is it like?
August 9, 2016 at 3:53 pmMy boys can’t wait to go back to Legoland! We were last there when they were building the Ninjago attraction. Did UniKitty interact or is it a statue? We met Emmet and Wildstyle and saw Ninjago builds, but not UniKitty.
February 16, 2017 at 2:57 amWe rode Ninjago – a blast! We went really early so no line and we went twice! Really amazing 3D and fun interactive ride. Unikitty was a personnel character but she couldn’t move very much π
February 16, 2017 at 5:07 amIn n out!
February 16, 2017 at 2:57 amOkay! Another one to try! What flavor do you get? I’m a vanilla or chocolate or anything caramel π
