Have you driven past the big round cutie yellow signs that say Over Easy? Next time drive right in and park. Go in and order yourself the blueberry pancakes.
We were starving after a nice early morning hike at Gateway Loop in the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale and got these most delicious blueberry pancakes.
The restaurant was packed but our service was friendly and quick, and the fare was delicious and reasonably priced. Over Easy features awesome kids menu too, including M&M pancakes, a must try!
We also ordered the “Selena” breakfast burrito with hash browns, sausage and cheese and our final word is this: put it on your “let’s get that” list.
On our “let’s get that next time” list is Brioche French toast with powdered sugar (just so you know, I’m in for anything with powdered sugar – I even like it on my sandwiches, split a Monte Cristo with me? I’ll treat if you know a place where the Monte Cristo reigns supreme as the best item on the menu).
There are four Over Easy locations in the Valley all open by 6:30 am every morning with restaurants in Arcadia, Gilbert, Mesa and the one where we dined in Scottsdale in the Ice Den Plaza.
