Imaginative Play at Its Finest

Posted in Where To by

Cool dress up. Lava rocks to climb on. Playhouse to discover things in. A secret sliding door. And a portrait his eyes really do move and follow you around the room + bean bags!

Welcome to “The Catacombs of Professor McGee!” A new playful public art exhibit at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library by artist Nathaniel Lewis.

This free exhibit will give your kids the chance to stretch their imaginations, to play, and enjoy unique interactions with art/play things. This is such valuable play time for kids and I’m not alone in thinking this, see our recent guest post by the folks at Children’s Museum of Phoenix.

Exhibit is free and ends on August 31 so don’t miss your chance to give your kids a one of a kind play experience.

Find out more about the exhibit here. We’d love to hear what you think after you visit. When we Moms support efforts like this, it is more likely that we will see more of them. ❤️😀

This exhibit is super fun! It is art but you can play in it! The kids never want to leave! This grown-up was sad to go too but has plans to go back with the kids one more time before it closes on August 31.

It really is so fun, lots to do, try on, play with and see! I would really recommend it and, if it’s not too hot, you can go out onto the civic center mall and take pictures in front of the iconoclastic LOVE sculpture. It’s one of the best photo ops in our valley.
