Home to the Havasupai and Hualapai people for centuries, the canyon and adjacent rim are now contained within Grand Canyon National Park, the Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, the Hualapai Indian Reservation, the Havasupai Indian Reservation, and the Navajo Nation.
