This weekend is your last chance to wind through the Straw Maze and climb the Colossal Castle before we swap straw for sand in preparation for SandFest!

We’ll miss its majesty, but we’re looking forward to a new beachy scene full of sensory-rich sand play.

View this post on Instagram

3-2-1-Blast off ??! Join us for an out-of-this world adventure in Lunar Landing, our newest limited-time, pop-up experience at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix! You’ll enjoy exploring in this space-themed area filled with floating mylar balloons and unique art installations, perhaps while imagining that you are an astronaut ?‍? or that you are a space creature ? moving through outer space. Imaginary play in this unusual play space provides opportunities to develop language and communication skills, social skills, and requires cognitive thinking to roleplay in the pretend scenario. The sights and sounds in this immersive experience also provide plenty of opportunities for sensory development. Don’t miss out on Lunar Landing before it disappears into a black hole ?! ☄️Lunar Landing opens on March 21st and will run until April 26th! Museum members will get an exclusive preview during Members-Only Night on March 20th ?!
